Kathy Ann is a multidisciplinary artist originally from perth, Ontario, Canada.

Blending hook-driven pop with a sharp lyrical edge, her music lives somewhere between confessional songwriting and theatrical performance. Inspired by artists like Britney Spears, Fiona Apple, and Ben Folds, she brings emotional precision and character-driven writing into every track. With roots in musical theatre, her work channels evocative narrative depth and stagecraft.

Her songs have been described as “delicate poetry” by NBC and “phenomenal” by Sports Illustrated. She wrote and composed Gameshow: The Musical which debuted in Toronto earning an extended run at Diesel Playhouse in 2008.

She holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Toronto Metropolitan University and currently works as a writer for Hyper Hippo Entertainment supervised by her three rescue cats: Woofy, Melancholy, and BOOSTER JUICE™.
